Maths helpers

On Wednesday our maths class (including some maths extension boys and all maths assistance boys) participate in chance and data activities. This term we have already been looking at analysing data using mean, median and mode. Yesterday we created bar graphs using excel to display our data and started analysing different types of graphs.

We will be further reading data and making our own graphs to suit research we conduct. Below is a great website explaining how to choose the correct type of graph for the data you have.

This website, whilst not as good, also provides an image of each type of graph:

Happy graphing everyone :)
