Speeches for term 2

Hi everyone,
this term we will be continuing our speeches, but unlike last term these will be weekly not fortnightly. Since our text type this term is expositions we are going to run with this theme into our speeches. Each boy will choose a topic from the list and argue one side. He will need to introduce the topic and clearly state what side he is on. Each speech will go for a maximum of three minutes and must have at least three arguments that have been expanded on.

I have just uploaded the rubric that the boys will be marked on onto the Speeches page above. Each boy has also been given a topic sheet and rubric to take home to help them prepare.

Next Friday the following boys will be sharing their speeches:
