Homework term 2

Each week boys from 6LA will be expected to complete the following:

1. Read every weeknight for at least 10 minutes notes and signed in the diary

2. Practice their weekly spelling words every night also noted and signed in the diary

3. Review times tables they don't know automatically every night

4. Mental maths double page

5. Any other work that has not been completed by an appropriate amount of time in class

*It is extremely important that the boys in our class organise themselves so they are not completing homework the night before it is due. This is to ready them for highschool, as well as give them an opportunity to ask me for help during the week if they need it.

Diaries:

Each boy is encouraged to use their diary for all school and personal related events. As a class each week we go through and write into our diaries the week's coming events and any extra commitments we may have. 

If this could be followed up at home to ensure the boys are organising their time efficiently I would really appreciate it and this will be a fantastic habit for each boy to get into before the end of the year.
